1. Agreement to terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using Thenema Writer (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. License grant

Subject to payment and these terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on up to the number of devices allowed by your license tier:

• Lifetime License — up to 2 devices, one-time payment.
• Annual Plan — up to 2 devices, billed annually.
• Team License — shared access for up to 8 writers/producers, one-time payment.

This license is for your own use (or your team's use, for Team Licenses) and may not be resold, shared outside the licensed team, or used to provide a competing service.

3. Device limits and license enforcement

To protect against unauthorized sharing, the App verifies your license with our servers periodically and enforces the device limit above. If you need to move your license to a new computer and you're at your device limit, you can deactivate an old device from your account settings, or contact support for help.

We reserve the right to suspend a license found to be shared beyond its permitted device limit or otherwise used in violation of these terms. We'll always attempt to contact the account holder first to resolve a good-faith mistake before taking that step.

4. Payments and refunds

Annual Plan subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass the App's license verification.
• Share your license key or account credentials outside your licensed team.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our servers.

6. Your content

You retain full ownership of everything you write and create using Thenema Writer — scripts, story documents, world-building content, and any other creative work. We claim no rights to your creative content.

7. AI features

Thenema Writer includes optional AI-assisted writing tools. These are designed to support your creative process, not replace your authorship. 8. Disclaimer of warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thenema Visuals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or creative work. We strongly recommend keeping your own backups of your creative projects.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially violate these terms. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time.

11. Governing law

12. Changes to these terms
